If you are not using IP Allow Lists for Apollo’s DNS entries, this update does not apply to you, and there will be no impact to any GraphOS features. In general, if you are using corporate proxies or safe lists, Apollo recommends doing domain-based restrictions as opposed to IP-based restrictions.
Customers who use IP Allow Lists will be required to have an up to date version of IP addresses explicitly allowed in order to ensure full compliance with GraphOS. Provided customers using IP Allow Lists have these updates, there will be no downtime to any services in relation to Apollo.
As announced on May 1st, 2023, Apollo occasionally updates the IP addresses behind our APIs. Customers who use IP-based restrictions in their networks should reach out to Apollo Technical Support by going to our Help center or sending an email to support@apollographql.com to get an up-to-date list of IPs before August 12, 2024.
For more details, please see below and be sure to look over our announcement from May 1st, 2023.
