On Monday, May 8, we will be adding several new IP addresses to our infrastructure as part of a migration effort internal to GraphOS. These IP addresses are associated with new load balancers. We will begin by migrating our internal API (graphql.api.apollographql.com), which powers the GraphOS Studio app as well as our legacy apollo CLI.
In June 2023, we will start migrating other external points of network ingress, including our external Platform API (api.apollographql.com). There will be no changes to domain names as part of this transition.
We do not expect any disruption to service during this window, and we are sharing these IP addresses with you ahead of time in case you have questions or internal security protocols that recognize IP addresses:
In general, if you are using corporate proxies or safe lists, we recommend doing domain-based restrictions as opposed to IP-based restrictions. As always, if you have any questions about this change, please reach out to your Apollo support team.
